About the Role

i4DM is looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to support our existing Managed Services clients and take an active role in growing our Managed Services department. Our TAM will bring a foundation of technical knowledge and understanding to the role to serve as a liaison between our current or prospective clients and our engineers. Our TAM will excel at building professional relationships based on trust. i4DM’s TAM will understand our current or prospective client’s most complex challenges and take an active role in solutioning. Our TAM will ensure that i4DM consistently delivers excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understand their business, strive to be a problem solver
  • Attend, document monthly and quarterly meetings
  • Manage contracts, renewals, client set up in various systems
  • Document incoming requests for services, licenses, and hardware; collaborate with engineers to design solution.
  • Own the proposal process from creation through delivery to client
  • Become a trusted advisor to current clients and seek to add value through new opportunities
  • Maintain high client satisfaction
  • Prepare reports to demonstrate i4DM value for our clients
  • Approve invoices prior to delivery to client
  • Collaborate with leadership team to grow Managed Services through Business Development activities
  • Lead discovery calls to determine needs/pain points of potential clients
  • Present solutions to current and potential clients with high level of technical understanding
  • Update CRM system with updates from business development process
  • Stay current on technology trends

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Adequate level of understanding of technology including workstations, networking, and cybersecurity, including a willingness to continue with professional development
  • 3 Years of Experience as a Technical Account Manager, preferably within a Managed Services environment
  • Proven ability to create professional relationships based on trust and proficient delivery
  • Experience with writing proposals for clients
  • Experience on the sales/business development team closing new business
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
